Frequently Asked Questions

What are your visiting hours?

We welcome visitors anytime, but please call ahead to check our current policies. We aim to balance family time with resident care and privacy.

How often will a doctor see my loved one?

Doctors typically visit new residents within 72 hours of arrival. After that, visits are based on individual needs. Our nursing team stays in close contact with physicians and can provide updates.

When will medications be administered?

Once your doctor approves medication orders, they're promptly sent to our pharmacy for delivery. For urgent needs, our nurses will consult with your physician. Note that controlled substances require additional processing time.

What's the rehabilitation schedule like?

Our therapy team will meet with you within 24 hours of admission to create a personalized plan. Your schedule will be tailored to your specific needs and goals.

What are the meal times?

We serve breakfast from 7:30-8:30 AM, lunch 12:15-1:15 PM, and dinner 5:30-6:30 PM. Meals follow physician orders and can be enjoyed in your room or our dining area. Discuss your preferences with your nurse.

Is there phone and internet access?

Yes, private phones are available in each room and at nursing stations. We offer Wi-Fi throughout the facility - just ask staff for the network password.

Can I receive mail?

Absolutely. We deliver mail to residents personally, Monday through Saturday.

Are hairdressing services available?

Yes, we have hairstylists on-site weekly. Contact our front desk to schedule an appointment.

Can family bring in outside food?

Outside food is allowed, but please check with nursing staff first, especially for special diets. Any food kept in rooms must be in sealed containers.

How is laundry handled?

We provide and launder bed linens, gowns, and towels. Personal laundry service is complimentary, but families may opt to handle it themselves. We ask that laundry be done at least weekly to maintain hygiene standards.

What should I bring to wear?

We recommend five changes of comfortable clothes and non-slip shoes. All items should be labeled with the resident's name. We can provide a detailed clothing list and assist with labeling.

What activities do you offer?

We have a diverse activity program including music, fitness, religious services, games, and outings. Activities are tailored to residents' abilities and interests. We welcome family involvement and suggestions.

Is there a limit on visitors?

While we don't set strict limits, please check our current visitation policies. We ask visitors to be mindful of shared rooms and other residents' needs.

Can I reserve private space for special events?

Yes, you can reserve our dining room or other spaces for special occasions through our Activities Director. Availability may be limited, so please book in advance.

Can residents leave the facility?

Residents may leave with physician authorization. Please coordinate through our nursing staff and sign our leave of absence book when departing and returning.
